Christopher’s Golden Tips for Ease and Confidence in English
- Confident, beautiful English does NOT mean speaking “perfectly.” No one speaks “perfect English.” There is a saying in English: “The perfect is the enemy of the excellent” The idea of perfection just makes you nervous!
- Confident English means this: You can say anything you want to in English without worry. You do not think, “Do I know how to say this?” Instead, you think, “What do I really want to say?”
- Confident English means enjoying the beautiful English language. English becomes something fun, not a big mountain or a dark forest full of wild animals!
- Confident English means doing business in English like a professional. You will learn how to do that in your lessons.
- Confident English means enjoying social situations. It means making friends – and enjoying them! Relaxing with them. We will teach you how to feel comfortable in in formal social settings.
- Confident English means speaking more slowly! When you speak slowly, you found relaxes and confident.
- Confident English means that English grammar rules are automatic. You do not have to think about them all the time. They are natural to you. You will learn this habit also.
Here’s the bottom line: With Advanced English, you are “at home” in the language. You are on the “inside” of the language, not on the “outside” looking in.
